When an item arrives, your can use your purchase
order to receive the items into stock. When you receive the item
(s), the system will immediately update so you will know by browsing
your work orders or shipping orders that you now have the parts
required to make a work order or ship a finished good. At the
point of receiving you can enter pertinent information such as
serial numbers or expiration dates and track them through the
shipping or work order process. Receiving also supports:
- Partial receipts
- Returning damaged products to your vendor
- Locating items to specific warehouse locations (including
on hold functionality)
- Direct receipts without purchase orders
