Inventory Control System Upgrade Features

Changes to Inventory Pro in Build 50:

  • New screen Warehouse/Project Requirements (on the Inventory menu)
  • Removed the system browser when upgrading or starting Inventory Pro for the firs time
  • Splash screen revised
  • Item Transaction History button added to the Inventory Item Master List screen
  • New Option under Purchasing: Populate Receive screen with zero quantities
  • New Option under Purchasing: Do not allow receive qty to be greater than the qty on the PO *note – if Allow duplicate line items is checked off, neither of the new Options are allowed and are automatically unchecked
  • New Option under Purchasing: Only items on PO can be received – If the item doesn’t appear on the PO, then it can not be added to the receiving screen
  • PO text change: ”Do not allow receive qty to be greater than the qty on the PO” has been changed to “Warn if receive qty greater than PO qty”. Option screen description also changed to reflect this change
  • On the shipping order screen: the kit # field under the line items tab is now sorted alphabetically
  • Audit Trail report: date field made wider to accommodate mm/dd/yyyy formatted dates

Changes to Inventory Pro in Build 48:

  • Allow linked pictures on the Asset screen – selected with the same link image option from 47
  • Work Order changes:
    • Indented BOM
    • Indented Assembly Cost
    • BOM Items Issued – screen off of the Unit Detail screen showing which parts when into a particular part Prompt for Serial #’s if assembled items use them
  • New report choice on Asset screen – Entire Catalog (allows users to print a range).
  • Packing Slip shows which warehouse is selected on the Shipping Order. If warehouse is not selected, then the warehouse from the Options screen is used.
  • New Item ID’s are now checked for the following characters: / \ [ ] : | < > + = ; , ? * ‘
  • Two new reports on the work order screen drop down box: Items to Order Current Order, Items to Order All Orders

Changes to Inventory Pro in Build 47:

  • Changes: Button for each line item. When clicked, screen OrderTransactionHistory displays last 3 transactions. OrderTransactionHistory has button to display all transactions for a particular part
  • Allow multiple kits per Shipping Order
  • Allow wildcards as place holders in the barcode reader – prefix only
  • Allow linked pictures on the item master list as well as the old style copy/paste the picture into the IML screen. Selected with Options->System->Use linked images

Changes to Inventory Pro in Build 45:

  • PO return feature. Allows user to fix receipt or show a returned items on a Purchase Order
  • Configurable Reports menu option under Reports. Allows more filtering options to existing standard reports. The Configurable Reports SQL Statements are available under System/Administrative Tools/Import and Export Custom Reports to enable users to change the existing configurable reports. (Changing these reports does not change the standard reports.)
  • Updated Fast Browse Screens
  • Inventory Leasing/Audit Trail completion from Build 44
  • Positive Adjustment code on receiving screen when receiving through a PO can now be changed
  • Work Orders option in System/Administrative Tools/Options to not populate issuing screen when issuing from a work order
  • Work Order options in System/Administrative Tools/Options for backordering a work order
